Lovely bisque socket head, which swivels on separately modeled bisque shoulder plate, neither piece has any marking. She stands 19" tall. Head has pale blue inset eyes, a closed smiling mouth, earlobes pierced into head, nice contrast between the rosy cheeks and the the paleness of the rest of the face, and wearing a blond mohair wig in long curl in a Maria Antoinette style coiffure over cork pate. The body is firm light kid leather with narrow waist, gusset joints at the hips and knees, and lovely bisque arms which go to above the shoulder. Possible very good and old restoration on one or two of the fingers on left hand. The dress is a two piece peach silk costume with cloth flowers on top, inset silk ribbons and lace over pleats at bottom near hem. She comes with a very nice antique straw bonnet with each silk ribbons, and antique underwear, but is lacking shoes and stockings. In addition to the other fine details of the body, the toes have separate stitching.
