DSP. An absolutely incredible New Old Stock example of this highly sought after Circa 1930's Porcelain Shield Sign from Husky Gasoline & Motor Oils showing a brilliant and bright Husky Dog graphic. This incredible condition piece was pulled from the original shipping crate when found and any of the minimal wear on the piece came from storage. Sign features unique blue, yellow and red Husky coloring as well as a unique shield shape with Sunburst graphic. CONDITION: Side one is in absolutely outstanding condition throughout the field showing fantastic color and gloss with no areas of chipping in the field and a beautiful Husky Dog graphic. Side one shows only a minimal amount of light surface scratch from storage in the field and displays incredibly well. Side one shows minor chipping at the top left edge as well as minimal chipping at the bottom edge as well as the lowest point of the shield. Overall side one displays incredibly well and would be extremely tough to improve upon, Grade 9.5+. Side two is also in outstanding condition showing incredible color and gloss throughout the field with no areas of chipping in the inner or outer fields and showing a beautiful and bright Husky Dog graphic. Side two shows one area of scratch under the "K" of Husky as well as some minimal areas of light surface wear but overall excellent. Side two shows minor chipping at the top left edge as well as one area of chipping at the bottom right edge and light wear at the lowest tip of the shield. Overall side two displays outstanding, Grade 9.0+. A very tough to improve upon example of this highly sought after iconic Sign from Husky Gasoline and Motor Oils.
