RL-83 Blinicide (Armor Killer) rocket launcher manufactured by Mecar SA in Belgium and subsequently used by the Israeli Defense Force. An improved variation of the M20A1 Bazooka, the RL-83's primary designation was as an anti-tank weapon, but could also utilize, anti-personnel, incendiary, illumination, and smoke munitions for use in a wide range of combat scenarios. This example is stamp on left side of the tube with Hebrew characters and Israeli property stamps, with the grip bearing Hebrew characters at the trigger safety lever. Rear of tube bears a small yellow painted section with black Hebrew characters, with additional Hebrew characters at the striker safety. Features include matte black finish, fiberglass construction, folding takedown design, dual safeties, an adjustable rear sight, under-folding foregrip/monopod, as well as a blast shield. Launcher has been deactivated via a circular hole cut into the right side, removal of the upper portion of the striker, as well as by installing a crossbar at the breech. Launcher is accompanied by an original wood transit chest. CONDITION: Very good, with the launcher retaining the vast majority of its later applied black finish, exhibiting some scuffs and marks overall from storage and handling. Transit chest shows wear and flaking overall, with some interior fittings having come loose. MLW
