Lot consists of various WWII era airborne unit patches, ovals, and jump wings. The patches do not glow under a black light with the exception of some of the edges because some patches appear to have been sewn to a blanket post war. There are ten 101st Airborne patches and one theater made Airborne patch tab, eight 82nd Airborne patches, ten 11th Airborne patches, three 17th Airborne patches, one 13th Airborne patch, eight Airborne Command patches, and two Airborne Troop Carrier Command patches. There are also some miscellaneous patches including one 49th AAA Brigade patch, one 18th Airborne Ghost Division patch, and one 1st Allied Airborne Command patch, and one 187th Airborne Infantry Regiment patch which was probably very late WWII-post WWII. There are also 4 airborne glider infantry hat patches, 4 parachute infantry hat patches, with one being English made. Also included are 9 airborne ovals with some being post WWII. There are 4 pairs of jump wings, one is attached to an oval, and 1 pair of glider wings. All with the exception of one pair of jump wings are marked sterling. There is one pair of wings embroidered on cloth. Lastly, there are 3 DI type pins, two 11th airborne and one 1st Allied Airborne Command. CONDITION: All patches are in overall very good condition with some showing loose thread from being removed from uniforms or patch blankets. Wings show slight tarnishing. JD
