C. 1903 Lochmann No. 172 disc music box with original stand and 18 included 24 - 3/8" discs. The No. 172 is coin-operated, has a duplex music comb with 160 teeth, along with 12 Klangohren (tubular) bells. The 172 was offered in walnut and oak, and this walnut version has the original stand for storage of the 24 - 3/8" discs. Condition shows very little signs of wear, with a deep rich finish with only light surface scratches from operating. With a beautiful finish, stunning relief carvings and marquee, with stenciled front glass and inlaid base cabinet, this outstanding example of a Lochmann Original would be a great addition to the most advanced collection.
