Lot consists of: (A) Box of approximately 70 buttons, lead backed company insignia, and regimental numbers, etc. (B) Four sets of Indian Wars period worsted wool artillery chest cords and waffles. (C) Two Indian Wars era worsted wool yellow cavalry officer's campaign hat cords. (D) Infantry chest cords. (E) Unissued 1902 dated enlisted cavalry horsehair plume. (F) M1881 officer's chin chain. Leather backing is present but detached. (G) 1880's worsted wool cavalry helmet and chest cords. (H) Two 1880's gold bullion cavalry aiguillettes. (I) 1880's worsted wool infantry chest cords. (J) Scarce set of pattern 1872 "lemon yellow" worsted wool chest cords. (K) Yak hair plume and associated helmet hardware. CONDITION: Excellent overall. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Wagner cavalry museum collection.
