Lot consists of: 11 P1913 bayonets manufactured by Remington, all properly marked as such. Bayonets are dated between 1915-1917. At least two have crossed out British proofs and are "U.S." marked. Nine of the bayonets have scabbards. One bayonet is an interesting hybrid with a German 98/05 handle with a P1913 blade and scabbard. The blades exhibit a variety of finish from fully blued blades, to reblued blades, and blued ricassos. Some blades have false edges at the tip. CONDITION: Good-very good. All bayonets exhibit typical marks from field and handling wear. Some blades exhibit marks or have been cleaned while others retain great amounts of their original finish. Some exhibit weak markings. Handles and frogs exhibit wear from use and handling. Some scabbards exhibit various blemishes but all appear sturdy.
