A) A superb color recruiting poster for the United States Marine Corps in World War I. This example has been overprinted at the bottom for a recruiting station in Jackson, Michigan. The poster is 18 by 25-3/4 inches in size with metal strips on the top and bottom edges. The upper strip has a ring for hanging the poster. CONDITION: Poster is in very good condition with areas of minor soiling and a 1" tear. B) World War I Marine Corps Recruiting poster overprinted on the bottom for a recruiting station in San Francisco. The poster measures 18 by 29-1/2" in size with metal strips on the top and bottom edges. CONDITION: Poster is framed and is in very good condition showing minor edge wear. DG
