Lot consists of: (A) Flat slightly curved blade; cast guard, with crude floral motifs. Wooden grip with ferrule at bottom. CONDITION: Blade retains a dark patina with some areas of corrosion and some losses to edge. Hilt retains an unpolished patina and grip shows a few marks from use, possibly replaced. (B) Flat, slightly curved blade with simple 'D' guard, which was probably modified and once had a more elaborate counter guard. Domed pommel cap with capstan and plain wooden grip. CONDITION: Blade shows a spotted grey patina with some nicks to edge. Guard retains a mellow mustard patina with some minor damage on right side of guard and grip with some age cracks.
