Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe 1st Model dagger, (B) Luftwaffe 2nd Model dagger, and (C) Heer dagger. (A) Luftwaffe 1st model dagger with a nickel plated blade marked "MWM Waffen", with light runner and scattered marks. Blade has several nicks and dings about 5" from the tip. Nickle fittings have a uniform patina, and wire-wrapped leather grip has very little wear. Blue leather covered steel scabbard is very nice, and has a 1/2" area of damage exposing the steel core. Nickel scabbard fittings have a nice patina overall, and an aluminum chain and "clc" made hanger are attached. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (B) Luftwaffe 2nd model dagger with a unmarked nickel plated blade, with scattered marks and staining throughout. Aluminum fittings are undamaged but loose. Wire-wrapped trylon grip is cracked in several places and has several pieces missing, exposing the cork core. Appears to be a parts dagger. Steel scabbard and aluminum fittings are undamaged, with a nice patina and aging overall. Correct "RZM" and "D.R.G.M." hanger is attached. CONDITION: Dagger is fair to good, and scabbard is excellent. Overall good to very good. (C) Heer dagger with a nickel plated blade made by "Eickhorn, Solingen", with light runner and scattered marks. Blade fittings do not match, and the trylon grip is faded, worn, and has flat areas of damage. Likely to have been assembled with parts. Steel scabbard and fittings exhibit a nice patina overall, but has three moderate sized dents on the lower 3", and the tip is bent and off-center by about ten degrees. CONDITION: Dagger is good, and scabbard is very good overall.
