Consists of: (A) US Army Model 1895 enlisted cap with 1st Infantry insignia on the front. 1902 contract date under the leather sweatband. CONDITION: Excellent, showing very minor wear and typical crazing on the visor. (B) World War I USMC enlisted dress visor cap with E. G & A. front insignia. Sweatband is contract marked and dated 1916, it is also stamped by a costume company. CONDITION: Good, the visor is detached, leather sweatband restitched, wool body and trim show no damage and cap retains its shape. (C) Model 1881 artillery officer's spike helmet with cloth covered pressed cork body, two-piece artillery front plate with the number "2" applied. There are two small holes above the number. Helmet features a red yak hair plume, leather-backed gilt interlocking chain chin strap, gold cords and artillery side buttons. Interior with black cotton crown lining, leather sweatband and green visor linings. CONDITION: Good, the wool exterior and visor bindings show some losses, the green visor linings exhibit a few tears.
