Lot consists of: (A) WWII USMC medical corpsman bolo knife in its original leather scabbard. The knife is marked "U.S.M.C" on the blade, there is no visible maker mark. The scabbard is marked "U.S. Boyt / 42". CONDITION: The blade exhibits a gray patina with scattered pitting throughout. There are at least 9 significant nicks in the blade from striking a hard object. The wood handle displays some dents. The scabbard exhibits some flaking and scuffs. Overall fair. (B) US WWI M1917 bolo knife in its original canvas and leather scabbard. The knife is marked "U.S. / MOD. 19.." on the ricasso and the maker mark on the other side is illegible. The scabbard is marked A-K-CO. / 1918 / R.H.S." on the leather portion. CONDITION: The blade exhibits a gray patina with scattered pitting throughout and there is evidence that the blade was sharpened. The wood handle displays some dents and scratches. The scabbard exhibits oxidation on the metal components and some scuffs on the canvas and leather. Overall fair. (C) US WWI M1917 trench knife with scabbard. The knife is marked "A.C. CO. U.S.A. 1917" inside the knuckle guard. There are no visible markings on the scabbard aside from "MS" on the lower metal portion. CONDITION: The blade exhibits a gray patina with slight pitting throughout and the tip of the blade has broken off. The wood handle displays some dents and scratches and the metal guard displays surface rust. The scabbard exhibits flacking, cracks, and rust that is on the upper metal portion. Overall fair. JD
