Lot consists of: (A) U.S. Bomber Helmet marked on front in white paint "M D C". CONDITION: Good, patination on the inside of ear flaps and smaller areas scattered around paint and metal. Some high edge wear starting to silver. (B) Canvas backpack dated 1917. CONDITION: Good overall, somewhat dirty with some stains. Right shoulder strap has tearing halfway through. Patination on metal parts, dark coloration of brass. (C) Post WW1 dark green canvas ammo belt. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) Walther P-38 stamped holster made by A. Fischer in Berlin, date is obscured by scrape to back. CONDITION: Very good, with scrape to back. (E) 1919 World War I Doughboy canvas leggings. CONDITION: Excellent. (F) US Model 1912 holster for Colt Model 1911 with swivel hanger with added medal on flap with repair. CONDITION: Good, with some crazing and dirt. Rivet repair to split at top. Leg strap of a lighter color, maybe later addition, but old. (G) Turn of the century US stamped canvas covered canteen missing stopper. These were used late Indian Wars until the invention of screw top. CONDITION: Very good, with preference for missing stopper mentioned above.
