This lot consists of a large portrait of President William Taft, the 27th President. He is depicted with a front view of his body and a quarter profile of his face. One can see the weight of the Presidential office in the eyes of President Taft, with his serious face. He dons a black coat, with white shirt and black tie. The painting is reminiscent of an early photograph as it is depicted in sepia tones. The image is framed in a dark wooden frame with gold accents. Normal wear is present and was not examined out of the frame.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
