Carved wood church figure of unusually large size with very expressive face, glass inset eyes looking down, open mouth with teeth, carved hair pulled to back with a hole for crown or halo (some paint chipping as usual on face and neck, legs and feet, front on one foot glued, touch up on blue paint, repair on fingers, cage has been reworked), wire joints at elbows only likely European. Large and lovely figure.
Condition: (Good).
