America, early 20th century. A wonderfully detailed turn of the century farmhouse with an attached conservatory and numerous charming vernacular architectural features such as prominent dormers on both the porch and main house roof distinguished by a homemade mosaic effect, welcoming front porch with hand-carved columns, paneled front door with glazed sidelights and transom, and weathered clapboard siding on three sides. The house opens in the back to reveal an interior that was extensively but sensitively remodeled in the late 20th century to provide interior walls defining five rooms, a staircase hall and the attic, which was left unfinished so viewers can appreciate evidence of the house's creative construction, right down to the Cuban cigar box walls. The house and conservatory are extensively furnished with an assortment of antique and vintage dolls' house furnishings including a Schneegass bed and luggage rack, several pieces of old German oak furniture, old German wooden bathroom set, painted soft metal sewing machine, three antique bisque dollhouse dolls, a vintage all-bisque maid, and numerous accessories.
