An early vase by Loetz in the Malachite decor from the Marmorietes series, circa 1880s. Mounted in a gilt metal framework with handles and three feet. Also, having an ornate scrollwork gold gilt decoration. Decor and form may be researched on www.loetz.com and in books by Ricke and the Neu Gallerie. Wear to the gold gilt decoration.

Condition: (Excellent).
