France, ca. 1870, pale pressed bisque socket head on bisque shoulder plate, blue stationary glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, later mohair wig, on a jointed wooden body. Wearing antique handmade white dress and holding a lorgnette.
