France, ca. 1870, unmarked pale pressed bisque socket head on bisque shoulder plate, blue glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, strawberry blonde mohair wig with cork pate and original French gusseted kid body. Wearing beautiful original two-piece plum and blue dress and a brown wool felt hat, no shoes. Provenance: Estelle Winthrop.
