America, mid to late nineteenth century. A delightful folk art house with exuberant paint finishes inside and out. The front facade features original red paint with gold painted lining and decorative flourishes and a hinged front door with faux painted panels. The roof is whimsically painted in an unusual striped effect in two complementary shades of green. The shallow porch with striped floor is removable and the lower portion of the front facade lifts off to reveal a single spacious room with brightly colored walls and floor surfaces.
