France, ca. 1870, unmarked pale pressed bisque socket head on bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig with cork pate on her original French gusseted kid body. Wearing beautiful original pale apricot couture gown with ormolu lorgnette, original earrings and necklace and brown leather heeled fashion boots. Provenance: Estelle Winthrop Collection.
