Features includes a well delineated hair line, prominent nose, and eyes encircled by a rare Mississippian Southern Cult symbol, known as a weeping eye motif. The mask edge reveals slight weathering and losses typical of such a fragile medium. Included with the mask is a strand of well-formed, graduated conch shell beads. Hancock County, Georgia origin.
