Along with a small compote, the sugar bowl, S Kirk & Son, ca. 1890, circular with loop handles, a slightly domed lid and on a spreading foot, all chased with floral decoration; the compote with a square top with a plain center and a floral chased border, the base similar and with four cast feet. Good condition. (2)Diameter of sugar bowl: 5-7/8 in; weight of both: 25 oz.***Sugar bowl with thin spot to side from removed initial (later initials over); bowl and lid with wear to all high points of design; compote (3-3/4 h x 6-5/8 in) with some signs of use but with sharp and crisp decoration.

ADDITIONAL INFO: There are several repairs to chasing on sides, more visible inside than outside; the largest measuring about 20mm.
