Along with a matching sugar bowl, both of squat bellied form with panels chased with floral scrolls, the cream jug Bigelow Brothers & Kennard, Boston ca. 1848, with a dated inscription; and a later sugar bowl made to match, Gorham, retailed by Foster & Son, Boston. Very good condition. Sugar bowl marked sterling under base. (2)Heigh of cream jug: 6-1/4 in; total weight: 34 oz.***Both well-polished but still with good sharp detail.
