Circa 1970s. Ball comes with an original photograph of the astronauts, lined up on Dodger Field. This Official League baseball was acquired from the wife of someone who worked at Rockwell International. It was signed at an event by Rockwell in honor of the Apollo astronauts at Chavez Ravine Dodger Stadium on June 10, 1970. The astronaut signatures include James McDdivitt, Charles Conrad Jr., Dave Scott, Jim Irwin, Alfred Worden, Harrison Schmitt, Hal Taylor, Dave McBride, Allan Bean, Dick Gordon Jr., and Fred Haise Jr., who uttered the now infamous phrase, "Houston, we've had a problem.". Wonderful provenance and very unusual and interesting item. Comes with an LOA from JSA.
