Webley production .455/.476 cal. revolver in very good condition with nickel finish, hard rubber birds eye grips, and lanyard ring. Barrel of revolver marked underneath “Major J.B. Woon 40th Pathans” ( 40th Pathans- a regiment in the British Indian Army). Needs more research on this officer’s service, but comes with extract of British Army Officer Register detailing military promotions to Lt. General. Comes in Webley factory wood case with accessories. Top of case marked FH, 24th Regiment. Overall length 12”, barrel length 6”, Serial #5964.
