France, ca. 1890, Jumeau bisque socket head incised F, brown glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, brown wig over kid with cork pate, bisque hands holding a floral painted wood guitar. Wearing original velvet and silk traditional Spanish costume with hat. Standing on a velvet covered base containing musical clockwork mechanism. When operated the figure moves head up, down, left and right, while strumming his instrument.
