France, mid 20th century, bisque socket head incised Unis France 301, blue glass eyes, painted brows and lashes, open mouth with teeth, bisque hands, blonde mohair wig, wearing satin and lace dress with matching hat. Standing on velvet covered base containing musical clockwork mechanism. Doll is holding a bird and standing in front of a basket of knitting yarn. When operated doll moves head side to side.
