France, ca. 1910, German bisque flange head and shoulder plate, head incised Revalo, brown stationary glass eyes, finely painted brows, lashes and beauty mark, replaced blonde mohair wig. An intricately articulated body with bisque hands holding a fan and lorgnette. Wearing a silk two-piece costume with matching hat on a velvet covered base. The torso contains the musical clockwork mechanism, when operated she turns her head side to side, forward and back, her torso moves forward and back, and swivels side to side, all while raising her fan and lorgnette.
