Made of a combination of tin and wood. Very early 19th century car. American made, Probably by Wilkins has a wooden front. Tin hood with nice stenciling and designs. Says "Peerless" on both sides of hood and blue racer in gold letters on both fenders. Original cast iron driver, woman passenger in rear was probably added. Metal spoked wheels. Was made as a toy push car. Barney Ofield the great race driver was associated with Peerless for years. This car is early 20th century and in the early 1900s this car probably called the (Blue Streak) was then an unheard of 60 miles per hour. All original but does have some chipping and wear to fenders and seats. A Real nice piece of Early Americana.
