Ca. 1840. American from Worcester, Mass. All wood with 4 rooms each with 3 windows, completely outfitted with carpets, wallpaper and curtains. All 4 sides are finished in faux painted bricks with applied corner stones. Front with painted doorway, glass windows with painted panes, and applied window frames opens to reveal inside and 11” high rooms. Mansard roof has applied wood shingles and painted chimney. Electrified. 30” long, 19 ½” deep, 28” high. Provenance: Herbert Hosmer’s Toy Museum and the Wheeler Collection.
