Bisque character head marked H in circle, likely Nippon with molded and painted eyes, painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed smiling mouth, composition 5-piece toddler body, nicely redressed; Lady doll with bisque head incised “Petite Française J.V. [in anchor] France” with molded and painted eyes, original wig, open mouth, crude 5-piece composition body, skirt of outfit replaced, but bodice and sleeves appear original, antique lacy bonnet. Two interesting dolls!
