“Patented July 15th 1862; also in Europe 20 December 1862” on bottom of doll; beautiful German china head with molded and painted gold snood with bows mounted on a cone-shaped body with metal feet which contains a clockwork mechanism which makes the doll walk; leather arms (some wear). Quite an unusual item!
