Weighted so-called “Sand Baby” with molded magnesit head and closed eyes, painted lashes (a few face scuffs, light soil, nose rub), painted hair; stockinette body with belly button and floppy legs. Beautifully dressed in antique dress, booties, and bonnet, newer underclothes. In original Kathe Kruse box bottom (soil and wear on box, no lid). Weighted babies were often used as training aids. Feels just like a real baby!!
