Paleo Period. 11,000 - 10,000 B.P. St. Louis County Missouri. Burlington chert. Deep fluting on this classic Clovis point suggests it has been worked down from a larger projectile.The overall blade shape and deeper than normal fluting is suggestive of a Redstone point This is a very aerodynamic hunting projectile from the earliest of time periods.
