Late 19th century. Made in Germany. Unusual running pose. Jointed arms and stationary legs on wooden base. Container opens at waist, paper box shows little wear. Nicely detailed painted paper mache features with lambs wool hair. Wearing shirt of jersey type material. Stitched silk pants show some age and wear. Original leather helmet with patent number. Original Bears insignia on helmet. Painted wood football on base.
