Early Paleo. 11500 - 10000 B.P. Fulton Co., Illinois. The gorgeous translucent caramel color of this Covis has been accented by nature with a patch of pure white which forms the tip. The magnificent “white tip” on this point was no accident. It’s ancient maker carefully planned “white tip” and in the process created what is likely the most colorful sugar quartz Clovis known. Found by Ronald Beaird near the Buckhart Township, Fulton Co., Illinois. This Clovis has been cast by and is featured on the Paleo poster of Pete Bostrum, Lithic Casting Lab, Troy, Illinois. The “Bostrum Blessing” is given only to the finest of specimens.
