800 - 600 B.P. Caddo pottery executed in the "Bailey" style exhibit some of the most delicate and thin walled vessels made in prehistoric America. This fine bowl goes beyond the normal quality, as it features the famous Bailey engraving over almost all of it's entire outer surface. This exotic decoration suggests that this bowl had a ritualistic function.
