Early-middle archaic. 8,000-5,000 B.P. Found near Vinita, Craig County, Oklahoma. Patinated Burlington Chert. Incredible notches extend over 3/4” into this classic basal notched point. Thin and well made for this type. Several small chips on edges and ears. Perino called this Peoria Chert when he authenticated it for Dave Harvey back in 1995.
