Stamped C.B. for Carl Bergner. German bisque head with 3 faces, sleeping, crying and smiling. Smiling face has glass eyes, crying face has tears and glass eyes (tiny line on nose), sleeping face has closed mouth (cheek rub); 5-piece papier-mâché body flapper-type body with molded shoes and socks has attached hood which hides the unwanted faces; redressed and rewigged. Always a popular model!
