France, ca. 1910, bisque socket head incised UNIS 301, blue glass eyes, painted brows and lashes, open mouth, brown human hair wig, on articulated body with bisque hands. Wearing a silk crepe harem costume with silk fringe. Standing on a velvet covered base containing musical clockwork mechanism. When operated she ingeniously rotates her hips in a dancing motion while moving her wrist to shakes the tambourine.
