America, late 20th century, a pair of contemporary roomboxes, one a traditional blue sitting room furnished with Bespaq furniture, the other a very modern New York salon with purple carpeting, sunken conversation pit, mirrored bar and populated by five character dolls including purported renditions of Joan Crawford and Howard Cosell. We think the maid has the right idea.
