The first napkin ring is a very large bird with massive claws grips a knife rest on a raised rectangular base. The napkin holder rests on the bird's out-stretched wings. Piece was probably replated and is marked 'Meriden B. Company No. 203'. The second napkin ring is a bear standing on its hind legs with its front paws on the napkin holder. The rectangular base has a decorative border and is marked 'Middletown Plate Co. No. 68'.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
