Both mid-19thC, the meat dish with a well-and-tree center, a shell, scroll and gadroon edge, two scrolled handles with turned ebony grips, all above a hot water base; the domed cover of usual form with a chased leafage handle and a wavy rim, one side engraved with a full coat-of-arms. Meat dish unmarked; dome marked W/1 on top beneath handle. Both in very good condition.Length of dish 25-1/2 in.
