George K Childs, Philadelphia ca. 1840, with a chased scene of a house in a rural landscape on either side of an unengraved scroll cartouche in the center, between floral ropework bands, and with a branch handle chased with fruiting vines. Marked 'G K Childs/ Phila.' twice in a rectangle under base. Good condition. Height to handle: 9 in.; weight: 19.5 ozt.
