Gale, 1862, comprising a hot water urn, teapot coffee pot, covered sugar bowl and covered cream or hot milk jug, each with an ovoid body with a band of interlaced scrolls below a cylindrical neck with beaded borders, the rectangular ribbed handles with cast sphinx figures and female mask medallions on the bottom ends, and on low stepped feet. Initials. Each with both company trademark and retailer's mark, and sterling. Very good condition. Height of urn: 14-1/2 in; weight: 138 ozt.
