Serial No. 109461. Manufactured 1885. Standard revolver with 4" inch octagon barrel, five shot, .31 caliber. Action works fine. Fine bore. 10% original high polish blue on barrel. Traces of case colors on lever. Strong cylinder scene. All matching numbers including wedge. Gun has presentation engraving on backstrap, along with "N.13" on butt. It is attributed to the New York Penitentiary, but engraving is extremely difficult to read. Original grips also have "No. 13" impressed on right panel. Interesting early Sing-Sing Prison guard gun.
