Serial No. 3460. Standard 1860 conversion with round 8" barrel, .44 caliber center fire, rebated 12 stop cylinder. Barrel and frame have been re-blued. 12 stop cylinder is numbered 5395 with "DD" inspector (from another gun) but has a strong cylinder scene and lots of the original Colt blue. Mismatched numbers, but frame was made in 1861. Fine action. Strong bore but frosted. Original grips with perfect cartouche on left and right panels, and most of the original varnish.
