Serial No. 30419. Manufactured in 1865, the last year of the war. Often referred to as the 1862 Pocket Navy, this is a standard configuration with the 4 ½” round barrel similar in design to the 1860. It features the half fluted cylinder. All the numbers match including the wedge. The gun remains in lovely un-touched condition. The barrel retains at least 70% of the original factory high polish blue turning plum. The cylinder has had some cold blue applied but matches nicely. The frame has darkened. The brass is a fine un-cleaned patina. One frame screw is buggered. The original carved Ivory grips are in superb shape and appear factory fitted with a lovely 3-D raised carving on the left side of a Cavalry officer. Strong and lightly frosted bore. Cylinder does not index so needs a new hand.
