Serial No. 12802. Standard 8" round barrel, six shot, .44 caliber, rebated cylinder. Action needs work. Bore is fine but dirty. Overall it is gun metal grey with some fine pitting. No cylinder scene. Cut for shoulder stock. Both grips are shy to metal with a chip on the right. Manufactured in 1861. Comes with factory letter, one of 300 guns shipped to the United States Army Arsenal in Washington, D.C. on October 14, 1861, at the beginning on the Civil War.
